Whew! She is out of surgery and in recovery. The doctor talked to us. All went very well. She is moving fingers and toes and talking. He did not put in the titanium plate. Her bone was too thin. He has seen this before but it's rare. She will not be in danger from no plate. May have some sinking but will not notice with hair over it. Her chiari was getting bad. He could see where the cerebellar tonsils were really pushing on the spinal cord. They even had callouses on the bottom of them. Glad we had this done. I am sure she will feel better.  I know I feel better. We should be able to see her in about an hour.   Yay!!
